    Why DROP ARAHA Kids Class is popular?

    1. Improve physical and athletic skills

    We have developed an original program that combines kickboxing and mat exercises to improve children’s physical and athletic abilities!

    The program simultaneously develops instantaneous force through movements such as punching and kicking, and footwork and endurance through continuous stepping, which not only improves basic physical fitness, but also promotes the development of motor skills that are fundamental to all sports.

    2. Learn to be polite

    In kickboxing, etiquette is very important.

    In addition to acquiring basic manners such as greetings, students learn repeatedly what it means to hit and kick others, and thus gain a deep understanding that violence against others is not allowed.

    3. Each lesson is 50 minutes long, so there are many ways to have fun without getting bored.

    5.Safety and security with two instructors at all times

    The maximum number of students in a kids’ class is 10, and two instructors are always available.

    This is a much more extensive system than most martial arts schools for children, but we have decided that this number of instructors is necessary to ensure safety and security and to maximize the effectiveness of the lessons.

    Is it true that exercise is important for children?

    We are sometimes asked the question, “Is it okay for small children to engage in strenuous exercise such as kickboxing? We are sometimes asked the question, “Is it really important for children to do strenuous exercise such as kickboxing?

    The answer is: “Appropriate exercise is very important for growth.

    Various studies have shown that exercise in childhood and adolescence is important not only for improving motor skills, but also for improving learning ability, cognitive function, and social skills.

    Exercise and Physical Fitness and Athletic Ability

    The Japan Pediatric Society has published the results of a study showing that the more time children spend exercising and playing sports in a day, the better their physical fitness test results.

    While there is no difference in early elementary school students, a clear difference is seen in junior high and high school students.

    The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) has also made similar recommendations in its “Healthy Japan 21,” and it is an important social issue to provide children with as many opportunities for exercise as possible.

    Exercise and Learning Ability/Cognitive Function

    Many studies have shown that exercise improves learning ability.

    Exercise has been shown to grow the hippocampus, the brain’s memory center, and although the details are still under study, a number of studies have confirmed that exercise improves concentration, decision-making ability, and almost all other cognitive functions in children between the ages of 4 and 18.

    Exercise and Social Skills

    The Science Council of Japan (SCJ) has found that, in addition to the motor and learning abilities described above, a sense of competence in exercise is also associated with self-confidence and stress tolerance, as well as the athletic and learning abilities described above, can lead to self-confidence and stress tolerance, which in turn can lead to more positive behavior.

    It has also been reported that children, especially boys, who are good at exercise are more socially successful as adults (Science Council of Japan, “Proposal: Development of an Exercise and Sports Promotion System to Energize Children”).

    Instructors with knowledge of exercise for preschoolers and children provide lessons that lead to physical and mental growth in a safe and comfortable manner.

     

    Subjects of Kids’ Classes

    This is how the long-awaited Kids’ Class started!

    The target age group is from 4 to 12 years old, and kids’ classes are open to both men and women.

    Children who like kickboxing, children who want to improve in various sports, children who are not good at exercise and do not know how to move their bodies, and many other types of children enjoy attending the classes.

     

    Contents of Kids’ Class

    DROP ARAHA’s original program is designed to help children improve their physical and mental development and athletic ability.

    In addition to practicing kickboxing form and technique, children learn how to use their bodies in an age-appropriate manner through mat exercises, and also learn greetings and other etiquette throughout the class.

    Main exercises include

    ●Warm-up exercises such as jumping rope, knee lifts, etc.
    ●Basic movements such as punching and kicking.
    ●Shadow boxing
    ●Practice of techniques against other fighters (no fighting)
    ●Touching game (the winner is the fighter who touches both shoulders and knees of the opponent).
    ●Mitts (trainer holds the mitts for safety)
    ●Mat exercise

    Safe training.

    The instructor manages the content and intensity of training appropriately according to the age and physical strength of the children, so they can practice safely and without injury.

    Especially for preschool children, mat exercises and gymnastics are often incorporated to improve their overall athletic ability by learning basic body usage.

    In the kids’ class, children do not practice punching and kicking each other.

    However, children who are competing in a match will spar under the supervision of the instructor, taking safety into consideration.

    Kids’ classes are held Monday through Friday from 5:00pm to 5:50pm daily.

    Reservation Mechanism

    You can make up to 2 reservations in advance.

    The number of times you can attend classes per month varies depending on the membership course, but the maximum number of reservations is the same for all courses.
